4-POINT AND WIND MITIGATION INSPECTIONS

4-POINT INSPECTIONS

We offer professional 4-point inspections – either with a home inspection, or as a stand-alone service.

A 4-point inspection (often referred to as simply an insurance inspection) is often requested by homeowners insurance companies before a homeowner/buyer can obtain insurance, or renew their current policy.

A 4-point inspection is straightforward. It is a limited inspection of the current condition of four major systems of a home: roofing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

This is not a full home inspection, but a requirement by an insurance company for homeowners insurance. We are fully certified and qualified to perform your 4-point inspection.

WIND MITIGATION INSPECTIONS

Need a wind mitigation inspection? We here at Baker Inspection group offer professional wind mitigation inspections to provide to your insurance company.

A wind mitigation inspection (also referred to as a wind mit) is a type of inspection that is not always required by an insurance company, but is something that every homeowner/buyer in Florida should consider.

This inspection does two important things – 1) ensures your home is ready for a storm, and 2) lowers your insurance premium (enough so that it pays for itself several times over generally.

Contact us today to add a wind mit to a home inspection, or have us perform one for you at any time.
